Trades and journal

Enter a trade manually

Save a trade record in the correct account and verify its values in the trade ledger.

Use manual entry when you have one trade to record and no suitable import file. A trade record is journal data; it does not submit a broker order.

Add the record

  1. Open Trades from the sidebar.
  2. Select the add-trade action.
  3. Choose the destination account and enter the instrument, side, entry and exit prices or times, and quantity requested by the form.
  4. Add fees or notes when those fields are available and relevant.
  5. Save, then find the record in the trade table.

Open the row to verify the values. Net P&L can differ from gross P&L when fees are recorded. If a trade belongs to a prop-firm phase, choose that account or phase so its reports remain correctly scoped. For batch entry, see import trades.
