Dashboard overview and filters

The Overview page summarizes saved trade data. Trade statistics use the records in the current account, date, and instrument scope; they are not live broker balances.

Open Overview and set the scope

1. Sign in and select Overview in the sidebar.
2. In the top bar, open Trading accounts to select the accounts to include.
3. Select Filters, then choose Instrument Filter or Date Range Filter. Apply or clear the selection in that filter.
4. Use the display-mode control to switch between Dollars View, Percentage View, R-Multiple View, and Privacy View. This changes how values are shown, not the saved trades.
5. Recheck the cards and charts after changing a selection. New, edited, or imported matching trades update the trade statistics.

Understand the KPI cards

The KPI row is customizable, so the cards depend on the selected layout. Common cards are:

• Account Balance & PnL shows the balance for selected accounts (or all accounts when none are selected) and a secondary performance value. A small count shows included trade records. Display mode can show money, percentage or R; Privacy View masks sensitive values.
• Trade win % is winning trades divided by winning plus losing trades. Breakeven trades are excluded using the break-even band in Preferences.
• Day win % is profitable trading days divided by days with activity. Days inside the break-even band are not profitable days.
• Profit factor compares total winning PnL with the absolute total losing PnL. Above 1 means winning PnL exceeds losing PnL in the included records.
• Avg win/loss trade compares the average winning trade with the average losing trade. The card shows the two averages as well as their ratio.
• Trade Streak shows the current consecutive win or loss count and the longest winning and losing streaks in the included trade history.

A card can show -- when it has no matching trade data. For exact metric definitions, see the glossary and performance reports.
