Getting started

Quick start: add and review a trade

Create an account, record a trade, and confirm it appears in your journal and reports.

This workflow gives you a first complete review loop. You need a JJI account; a broker connection is optional.

Steps

  1. In Accounts, create the live account that owns the trade.
  2. To enter one trade, open Trades and choose the add-trade action. Enter its instrument, side, entry and exit details, quantity, and account, then save. To add history, use Data and select an importer instead.
  3. Review imported rows and correct account or field mappings before confirming the import.
  4. Open Trades and check the saved trade’s date, symbol, side, and PnL. Select a row to inspect or edit its details.
  5. Open Journal, select the trading date, and add context or screenshots.
  6. Return to Overview or Reports and set the account filter to the account you just used.

What to expect

JJI records and analyzes trades; it does not route orders to a broker. If a report is empty, first check that the trade saved and that the selected account and date range include it. See import review or dashboard filters for details.
