Notifications

JJI supports 30+ typed notification categories:

• Prop Firm - Phase passed, failed, funded, payout approved, rule breach warnings
• Import - Import completed, parsing issues, sync errors
• Risk - Drawdown warnings, daily loss limit approached
• Strategy - Backtesting results, playbook suggestions
• Payment - Subscription renewal, payment received, payment failed
• Access - New device sign-in, account changes
• System - Maintenance notices, feature updates
• Weekly Review - Weekly performance summary notification
• Trade Review - Grouped reminders for imported trades that still need review

• Web dashboard - Notification bell icon in the top navbar. Unread count badge shows outstanding notifications.
• Mobile app - Push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging. Notification bell in the app header.
• In-app notification center - Full notification history with read/unread state and action links.

Go to Settings → Notifications to configure:

• Enable/disable notification categories
• Choose which notifications trigger push alerts on mobile
• Set quiet hours (no push notifications during specified times)
• Receive action-required emails when email delivery is configured

JJI sends transactional email through Resend only for action-required events. The database notification is still created if email delivery fails.

• Trade review: one grouped reminder one hour after an import, and one follow-up after 24 hours if trades remain unreviewed.
• Prop firm: 80% and 95% risk warnings, daily-loss or max-drawdown breaches, and pending phase or funded approval actions.
• Billing: payment due soon, due today, overdue, failed, subscription expired, and revoked free access.
• Payouts: rejected payout actions.
• Weekly review: one email after the weekly AI report is generated when Weekly AI Performance Reviews is enabled.

Import processing and completion, successful payments, restored access, granted free access, funded decisions, and informational notifications remain in-app only.

• Trade review: open the filtered review link, add the model/setup, notes, rules, rating, chart, or images, then confirm the Reviewed badge. Earlier trades receive one grouped in-app notice only; they do not generate historic reminder emails.
• Risk alert or breach: stop and inspect the account limits and phase details before taking another trade.
• Billing: open Settings and resolve the payment or subscription action before access changes.
• Weekly review: open the report, read the focus for next week, and apply the measurable action in your next session.

The mobile app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications. To receive push notifications:

1. Install the JJI mobile app
2. Sign in with your account
3. Allow notification permissions when prompted
4. Configure which notification types should push in Settings → Notifications
